We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a RCVS approved small animal practice situated in a highly desirable market town in Suffolk. With a longstanding presence in the community and a stellar reputation, our client boasts a loyal client base and a supportive team environment.

Located amidst the picturesque Suffolk countryside and offering a plethora of local amenities and convenient transport connections, this market town provides an ideal setting for both personal and professional fulfilment.

As a Veterinary Surgeon at their practice, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks including consultations, surgeries, vaccinations, emergency care, inpatient management, and the development of comprehensive treatment plans. Effective communication and collaboration with their dedicated team will be essential in ensuring the delivery of exceptional veterinary services.

Their recently refurbished practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a new reception area, consultation rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas, a well-equipped surgery room, imaging facilities with x-ray and ultrasound capabilities, a dedicated dental suite with dental x-rays, and separate kennel areas for dogs and cats.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and supportive team of veterinary professionals, including full-time and part-time Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, and support staff. They are committed to fostering professional development and offer support for further training and certification, with a collaborative approach to case discussions and learning.

Our client is seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for surgery and emergency medicine, and a collaborative mindset to join their team. The Rota:
• Full time role - 4/5 day week
• 1:4 Saturday rota
• No OOH
• Flexible working patterns with shift patterns generally from 8.15am to 6.15pm
