Your new school
The Headteacher is an established member of the school community, having worked at the school as a teacher for 16 years before taking on the role of Headteacher in 2020. Having worked within the school for such a long period of time, this Headteacher took on his role with a clear plan for the school, building on the standards set by their predecessor. His key aims for the school are to create a safe and supportive school environment where students are encouraged to strive to be the best they can be. At its last OFSTED inspection, the school was rated 'good' being commended for its leadership and the ability of communicating the high expectations it sets effectively.
The school is located within 3 miles of Dudley town centre and 5 miles of Wolverhampton city centre, making it easily accessible by both car and public transport.
Your new role This would be a full-time role, acting on a temporary basis. This role would require an experienced DT Teacher who is able to deliver engaging lessons to help the students' progress towards their goals. As well as delivering lessons, you would also be required to keep track of students' progress and provide a positive environment for them to progress, whilst also engaging with other faculty members to maintain standards within the school.
What you\'ll need to succeed Are you looking for an exciting new role within a Dudley school preparing and delivering lessons to students in years 7 to 11? If you possess a QTS or QTLS and have previous experience of teaching DT within a secondary education environment, this may be the role for you.
