Job description
Our client, a well-regarded firm based in Berkshire, is looking for an Employment Solicitor starting in March while they seek to recruit permanently. This is initially a part time role with the client needing someone two days per week (16 hours) – this could increase should workload increase (if of interest to the candidate).
The firm is happy for these two days per week to be worked remotely and would just look for the successful candidate to be in the office once per month.
I have outlined further details regarding the role below:
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, drafting and representation for Claimants in discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
- Draft legal documents, including terms and conditions for businesses
- Drafting claim forms
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies.
- Liaise with clients, third parties, and authorities as necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience in advocacy and drafting legal documents, particularly terms and conditions for businesses and claim forms.
- Proven track record of representing Claimants in discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- Diligent, personable, and committed to professional development.
