Early Years Assistant - SENCO

Fairytales Nursery are excited to be recruiting for an Early Years Assistant to join their wonderful team and take on the role of their designated SENCO.

More about the Early Years Assistant SENCO role:

-Location: Fairytales Day Nursery, Great Barr
-Hours: Full time, permanent (Minimum 30 hours) - Monday - Friday, flexible to work varied shifts between the hours of 7:15am-6:00pm
-Salary: Up to £11.60 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities for the Early Years Assistant SENCO:

-Supporting children through routine and stimulated activities
-Key worker responsibilities - Contribute to each child's learning and development
-As designated SENCO you will Liaise with external agencies and parents, complete applications and referrals, be the point of call for your team in regards to SEN concerns and oversee all targeted plans including EHCP's
-Work in partnership with the nursery manager to regularly review policy and practice

Requirements for the Early Years Assistant SENCO:

-SENCO experience desirable
-SEN/SENCO qualification desirable
-Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
-Experience working in an Early Years setting
