Salary: £24,900 based on 5 day week

Job type: Permanent, full-time, 5 days a week, 9:40 - 5:00pm

Full Time Retail Assistant

Margaret Forbes Jewellery are looking for enthusiastic friendly and well presented members to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary paid weekly, plus additional incentives including staff discount and free car parking.

Successful applicants will be working in a family run business where we promote a comfortable friendly and relaxed environment, making going to work enjoyable.

What you will do

• Help our team to be proactive in offering the highest level of customer service
• Learning and understanding our stock
• Learning about the services we offer and how to use these to create sales
• Helping customers with their choices, understanding their personal and lifestyle needs and creating a rapport so that they make the RIGHT purchase and leave Margaret Forbes Jewellery content that they have had the best possible service
• Accepting in repairs (service offered) and filling out receipt with all necessary details.

Our in-house Gemmologist and Diamond Graders, Victoria Forbes FGA DGA and Charlotte Forbes DGA, both qualified from the Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain (London) and they continue to use their expertise to source and handpick our coloured gemstones and diamonds from all over the world. We pride ourselves on the fact that our hand-made ‘antique’ pieces are indistinguishable from the originals.
