The new role of Account Sales Manager will be account managing existing clients whilst trying to upsell their current products to new lines. The role will involve external client visits around the UK (expenses paid) to meet clients, find out about their future needs and requirements and upselling new lines of products to them.

The role will be working closely with the Sales Reps's chasing up warm contact leads, contract renewals, and upselling. The position is based in the office in Macclesfield with travel around the UK. We are looking for candidates who have come from an account management/customer service background, who is looking for a step up in their career. Duties: 

• Developing new sales opportunities using social media. and warm lead follow up's 
• Working with the marketing team to create marketing strategies and activities to generate sales leads
• Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
• Handle order processing tasks, invoicing, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers
• Designing and ordering customised company packs
• Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of products and services
• Maintaining and improving the database of prospects on salesforce.com
• Researching for new leads
• Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers
• Maintaining and managing our extensive stock, re-ording stock for existing customers 
• Working with the field-based sales team to arrange product demonstrations and samples

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales support or customer service roles
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

This role is a great opportunity to progress within a fantastic company. The hours will be 9am-5pm Monday-Friday with over night travel (expenses paid) there will also be a quarterly bonus, private healthcare, pension and 25 days holiday.
