We are collaborating with a prominent business located in Wath upon Dearne to hire an Assistant Financial Accountant. Salary of £38,000 - £40,000 + 2 days from the office and 3 days from home + full study package

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting in fulfilling the requirements for quarterly, interim, and annual statutory audits, along with related group requests.
• Providing support for internal control processes, reporting, assessments, and facilitating changes.
• Staying updated on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements and aiding in their implementation within the business.
• Contributing to the production of all necessary IFRS information, including assistance with technical accounting papers.
• Developing and maintaining analytical reports for both management and audit purposes.
• Participating in regular meetings with internal and external reporting teams.
• Offering support for the financial aspects of bids in Business Development, as needed.

Requirements:

• Part- Qualified
• IFRS experience
• Practice background is a plus
