CMA Recruitment Group is working with an exciting and growing business based in Basingstoke, Hampshire who are looking for a Credit Controller to join them on a temporary basis to cover a particularly busy time. This role is due to the business experiencing excellent growth in recent months and could become permanent for the right candidate. Reporting to the Finance Manager this role plays an integral part in the department and company along with providing support to the sales employees.

What will the Credit Control role involve?

• Chasing customers to ensure prompt payment of invoices and helping to maximise the company’s cash position;
• Ensure customer queries are processed and resolved in an efficient and timely manner, liaising with the operations team;
• Maintain and update debtors’ reports for review by management;
• Provide cover for sales invoicing including uploading invoices to customer portals ensuring PO requirements are matched;
• Inputting bank transactions into Sage and reconciling the bank daily;

Suitable Candidate for the Credit Control vacancy:

• Educated to GCSE standard;
• Good Excel skills – vlookups and pivot tables desirable but not essential;
• Highly numerate with attention to detail;
• Good communicator and confident;
• Comfortable working to deadlines and under pressure;
• Someone reasonably local to Andover who is happy to be office based.
