We are searching for an experienced Integration Architect FTC 12 months
Role Description
RSM is a leading professional services firm with over 5000 staff and over 30 offices in the UK. Due to an upcoming transformation project, Project Acorn, an Integration Architect is required to lead the identification of integration requirements, transitional requirements, and development of the transitional roadmap.
Project Acorn is a large, multi-year transformation programme which aims to replace and update our existing HR and Finance systems with Workday.
Reporting to the Solution Architect, this role will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing integration solutions that integrate Workday with existing systems across Finance, Human Resources and National Technology.
The responsibilities are varied but will include:
- Ensure Workday best practices for system integration architecture, design, and build of Workday within RSM UK.
- Produce detailed documentation around the current RSM technology ecosystem, especially Finance and Human Resource related systems and their integrations with other systems.
- Creation of transitional integration architectures and roadmaps to align with the introduction of Workday modules.
- Build deep partnerships with our stakeholders and champion new ways of leveraging Workday technology for all users with a focus on streamlining process and aiding efficiency in the overall environment.
- Develop detailed technical documentation to identify and plan for the modification, decoupling or replacement “legacy” applications, modules and integrations.
- Design and document the relevant integration architecture appropriately (high level to low) and across multiple views (conceptual, logical, data flow and sequence diagrams).
- Working with the senior leadership team to design and proposed integrations
- Alignment of the Integration Architecture across multiple National Technology teams to design and deliver a fully integrated Workday ecosystem.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Experience with complex integrations ideally between HR & Finance systems in particular, Workday.
- Experience in conducting Integration discovery discussions with business SME’s
- Experience in the architecture of solutions hosted in Azure
- Deep understanding of integration tools and integration best practice (e.g. Azure data lake, API’s)
- Knowledge of cloud base and on prem DBMS and NoSQL technologies (e.g. SQL Server) as well as a working knowledge of legacy integration technologies. (e.g. ASP.net Web Services, SQL Data warehouses)
- Ability to communicate, work alongside and influence technical stakeholders across multiple disciplines including software development, infrastructure and data and analytics with a high level of detail
