Summary
Tide Partnership are delighted to be working with a health and social care provider who are looking to grow their team by recruiting a Payroll Manager. This is a really great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join an organisation who are committed to providing the highest possible quality of care.
The Role
As the Payroll Manager you will be instrumental in the leading the payroll teams and dealing with any queries from the wider organisation
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Efficiently oversee, guide, cultivate, and motivate the payroll team to deliver precise, prompt, and effective payroll services to the organisation, adhering to all statutory, national, and local policies.
- Fostering robust partnerships with pension providers, periodically assessing the suitability and competitiveness of the schemes to ensure optimal benefits for our employees.
- Preparing monthly payroll journals and reconciling payroll accounts as necessary for management reporting objectives.
- Ensuring the optimisation of the Payroll/HR system and maintaining its accuracy to provide precise data.
- Remaining current with pertinent tax laws and regulations to guarantee adherence to payroll procedures, while also proactively advising on potential risks, impacts, and necessary adjustments.
- Guaranteeing the currency, legality, accessibility, practicality, and alignment with best practices of all payroll policies, procedures, guidance, and practices.
Job Criteria
- CIPP (Level 5 or above
- Knowledge and experience of calculating Statutory Payments
- Up-to-date knowledge of all payroll legislations
- Experience in leading a payroll function and team
- Effective stakeholder management skills
