SJPG County Honours and Awards Coordinator - Bedfordshire
Do you believe that people are the most important part of our organisation? Do you also believe that it is important to recognise the huge contribution made by our volunteers, staff and supporters?
We are looking for a motivated individual who is willing to encourage and promote the recognition of exceptional service of our people, through coaching and supporting nominators with nominations, providing support and guidance where necessary. As a member of the Priory Group, you will collaborate with both members of the Priory Group, District Leadership Team, Units and functions within your area to help identify suitable candidates for recognition both within The Order of St John and where appropriate UK National Honours.
The Order of St John is a British Royal Order of Chivalry constituted in 1888, with the reigning Sovereign of the United Kingdom, as its Sovereign Head. Admission to The Order and promotion within it is conferred in recognition of achievement, successful discharge of responsibility or notable and selfless service in furthering the objects and purposes of the Order. In principle a person is admitted or promoted in the Order because of their merit.
If you have strong communication skills accompanied by enthusiasm to ensure the appropriate recognition of those who support the work of The Order of St John and St John Ambulance, we would very much like to hear from you.
