Marketing Manager

£30,000 – £38,000, Burgess Hill, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, company pension.

The Role

Our client, an established and growing business in the renewable energy sector, is going through a rapid expansion and is hiring a Marketing Manager to join their team. Working as part of the Senior Management Team, the Marketing Manager will take the lead on all Marketing activity for the business, whilst remaining a very hands-on marketer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a marketing strategy and executing this to promote products and services by creating compelling campaigns, engaging content, and targeted initiatives to enhance brand awareness, drive lead generation, and contribute to the overall growth of the company. This is a newly created role for the business, meaning it’s a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketing individual to make it their own. Some duties include:

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote solar products and services, tracking, measuring and reporting the successes of campaigns and optimising for future effectiveness
• Manage, coach and develop the Digital Marketing Apprentice
• Design of Marketing collateral
• Oversee digital marketing – including social media, email campaigns, SEO, and online advertising.
• Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
• Manage marketing budgets and allocation
• Implement lead generation campaigns to attract potential customers and partners.
• Stay updated with advancements in the solar / renewable energy industry.

Requirements The successful Marketing Manager will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation and brand management including the use of Adobe suite and photoshop. You must be comfortable collaborating with different teams within the business to work together towards deadlines. Some experience in renewables or renewable energy would be advantageous, but not essential as training in this will be given. You will be an analytical, solid, all-round marketer.
