A well known company in Kendal are looking to recruit a Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant can expect to get involved on a daily basis with the following tasks and duties :

• Coding of Purchase Invoices
• Credit Control
• Ledger Maintenance - ensuring Sales and Purchase Ledgers are up to date
• Initiating Monthly Run and paying Inter Company Accounts
• Stock counts
• Responsible for Petty Cash
• Daily Banking

The ideal Accounts Assistant will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role and ideally will be studying towards their AAT (study support with be given after qualifying period)
