Job Title Description:
The role is as follows:
• Successfully deliver projects using project management methodologies and tools, including the development of high-quality documentation that define clear deliverables, tasks, timelines and resource requirements. About You You will have experience in:
• Planning and managing projects, ideally in a public sector environment, and have a good understanding of the methodology and documentation required.
• Working in the children’s services sector.
• Working effectively with a range of different teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners. You will engage them with impeccable communication skills, building effective collaborative working relationships.
• Utilising various Microsoft packages and project management tools in a professional setting. You will display the following skills or attributes:
• Good organisational skills
• Self-motivation and a can-do attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
• An analytical mindset, coupled with the ability to spot meaningful solutions
Experience/ Knowledge
Experience of managing projects in a public sector environment, including drafting business cases, project briefs and other project documentation.
Experience of planning project activities, estimating resource needs and monitor progress against the plan.
Experience of working effectively with a wide range of multi-disciplinary teams, senior managers and partner organisations.
Experience of using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project planning tools to a good standard.
A detailed knowledge of project management approaches.
