About the team
Our Compliance Testing practice is made up of four competency areas including Finance, Technology, Operational and Regulatory. Our testing and compliance services provide oversight and assurance over critical functions, operations and processes - helping clients to understand where they have potential gaps and exposures. We work with multiple industries including Banking and Capital Markets; Insurance and Asset Wealth Management, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Retail, Health Services, Oil and Gas, and many more.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in SOX audit or equivalent significant experience in financial reporting & process controls within an operational testing environment
- Experience of managing and developing large scale teams
- Evidence of successfully setting up and / or running compliance operations
- strategic outlook, commercial acumen and business planning
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or international equivalent preferred, and non-chartered accountancy qualifications such as CIA will be considered/accepted
About the role You will be supporting the senior leadership team with the set up and operational delivery of multiple, large scale and complex SOX execution testing programmes, and monitoring compliance against our delivery frameworks for our clients.
Key Responsibilities - Providing oversight across large teams, supporting delivery and quality;
- Ensure that our ISO accredited delivery frameworks are at the heart of all programmes, including delivery plans, metrics, and a reporting framework to accurately articulate performance to clients;
- Ensuring all programmes meet with contractual obligations and standards, as well as budget and timescales;
- In conjunction with our Technical Management team assume responsibility for quality, risk, and governance and seek ways to continually improve processes, driving efficiencies and automating processes through the use of technology where possible;
- Help to position our services and capability across the PwC network, building and holding relationships with Partners;
- Personally maintain strong professional relationships with key client and internal stakeholders;
- Drive growth in our team, supporting resourcing, recruitment, and training initiatives;
- Support the growth ambition of our business through exceptional delivery and bringing best practice.
