Key Responsibilities :
As the Supervising Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in:
- Providing personalised support and supervision to foster carers, children, and young people.
- Inspiring and nurturing the potential of both foster carers and young individuals through reflective and creative approaches.
- Participating in an out-of-hours on-call service, demonstrating your commitment to wrap-around support for foster carers.
- Actively contributing to the growth and development of the Fostering service.
Requirements :
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Possess a reflective and creative approach to social work.
- Have relevant professional qualifications in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
- Demonstrate experience in fostering-related social work or child social care settings.
- Exhibit proficiency in identifying the needs of young people and making professional assessments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of fostering regulations, childcare law, and safeguarding issues.
- Hold a valid driving license and have access to a car.
