The service covers areas around South Cheshire including Nantwich, Sandbach, Crewe, Northwich and Alsager. It is easily commutable fromManchester, Liverpool, Chester and North Staffordshire. *The ability to travel is an essential requirement of the post* The Job Description and Person Spec for a Band 6 Clinical Specialist Stroke OT (attached to advert) will be the basis for the first 12months competency training in the post, and you will receive MDT support to develop the specialist skills required for the role. Band 5 Person Spec Criteria for this application - the following criteria will be used for shortlisting: Experience Essential criteria Maximum score 6 Previous relevant NHS Experience (Minimum 12 months) Ability to travel for work purposes Desirable criteria Maximum score 6 Experience of working with stroke patients Clinical Educator experience Skills Essential criteria Maximum score 6 Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Ability to provide holistic patient assessments and set SMART goals Desirable criteria Maximum score 9 Assessment and treatment planning with stroke patients Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure Advanced communication skills Knowledge Essential criteria Maximum score 3 Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement/CPD activities Desirable criteria Maximum score 9 Contribution to audit / service development Teaching and mentoring staff / MDT Relevant post grad training in Stroke/Neuro We look forward to receiving your application!!!
