About the Pub
The Pear Tree is a well-established pub on the main high street of Purley, in the London Borough of Croydon. A large imposing building popular with the more mature high street customers during the day and the younger surrounding residents at weekends. Known for its sports viewing and spacious customer area. As you enter the pub on your left-hand side are semi-circular booths and to the rear of the pub a great sport viewing area. The front of the pub has numerous tables which lends itself to be an ideal location to house a pool table and darts, perfect for local clubs to make the most of this designated space. A single classic traditional bar operation serves the full trade area and there is a mixture of high level and soft seating areas. The Pear Tree truly offers something for everyone.
