Head of Marketing, Industrial Products, up to £45,000 Basic plus a generous package

Our client is a prominent manufacturer of industrial components that are used in automotive, construction equipment, general manufacturing processes, recycling equipment, automation equipment, and pretty much all other sectors. They are currently seeking a Head of Marketing to elevate their brand to the next level. As the mastermind behind their communication strategy, you will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with buyers, industry leaders, and the internal team.
The role is more strategic marketing and requires someone with a strong marketing background, solid commercial acumen, and business nous.

Here’s What You’ll Do:
- The objective is to develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan that will enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
- The role requires overseeing and ensuring consistent messaging across all internal and external communication channels.
- Managing two websites and social media accounts, including creating engaging content that drives traffic and positions the company as a valuable partner.
- Spearheading the creation of various content such as animations, infographics, videos, and training materials.
- Coordinating the production of print materials such as catalogues and technical information.
- Converting best practices into compelling case studies for internal and external use.
- Generating newsworthy stories and pitching them to trade and general media to secure positive coverage.
- Building strong relationships with media outlets and industry organizations.
- Supporting initiatives that strengthen the company’s future positioning through events and PR campaigns.
- Serving as the main point of contact for media inquiries and internal communications.
- Identifying and proactively securing participation at key industry events.
- Promoting the company as an employer of choice and a responsible community member.
What is Needed:
- Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with a marketing or journalism degree, but we will also consider someone who is a seasoned writer with a talent for crafting compelling content.
- The candidate should be familiar with using a CMS system. Knowledge of inbound marketing strategies would be beneficial, particularly experience with Hubspot or a similar marketing automation tool.
- The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with excellent storytelling skills, as well as strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.
- We are looking for a results-oriented individual who is passionate about exceeding expectations.
- S. In your first 12-16 months, you’ll implement a new CRM, recruit a marketing team member, apply to win industry awards and prepare for major trade shows. The firm is ambitious, and you need to be too!
