An exciting opportunity to work for Rochdale Council within the Environmental Management department to work as an Administrative Assistant to work on our busy Duty Desk within an operational Service, based at Green lane Heywood to provide administrative support.
To provide a full range of administrative services to the Duty Desk Manager and to support senior officers within the Service Grouping as required.
To act as first point of reference on behalf of the Service to Members and other persons internal and external to the Authority and assist them in the resolution of their queries.
The Environmental Management service is responsible for Waste collection, Street cleansing, Grounds maintenance and Parks amongst a lot of other public facing services. We are looking for a motivated person who has a keen interest in public services.
