Job description
Survey Solutions is a leading engineering surveyor specialising in land, measured building and underground utility surveys as well as monitoring and site engineering schemes. We are looking to appoint a Financial Analyst to join Survey Solutions team, based in our Ipswich office.
This role is to support the team and management meet all deadlines and reporting requirements to the highest standards.
The successful candidate needs have relevant experience working in finance within a similar role, be ready for new systems and be a team player able to adapt and be open to change.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting -
- Production of Weekly Cashflow forecast.
- Production of Monthly Management accounts, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
- Production of Monthly KPI’s and analysis
- Assist in meeting group reporting requirements.
Responsible of Budgets and monthly reforecasts -
- Production of yearly budgets with Survey Managers and senior stakeholders
- Production of monthly reforecasts
- Production of Bank Covenant reforecasts
Responsible for Management Information -
- Production of Monthly Survey Manager reporting packs
- Production of Executive team reports
- Production of data used for Board pack.
- Production of Bank Covenant Quarterly reporting
- Calculation of Quarterly Bonuses
Key role in system implementation and process improvement -
- Assist in the implementation of new finance system.
- Maintain the finance system and linked system.
- Mentoring and development of team
- Ensuring all records meet TAX requirements.
- Manage working capital, support Accounts payable and Accounts receivable.
- Assist with fixed asset register and analysis.
- Any ad-hoc tasks and analysis
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with relevant post qualification experience
- Relevant experience working in a similar role and finance department.
- Commercial minded
- Strong Systems, IT and Microsoft office capabilities
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail.
- Team Player
- Open to change and working with new systems.
- Experience using Business Central and Power BI desirable.
