Job description
Our client is Northern Powergrid, based in Sunderland. Their vision is to be the best energy company in serving their customers whilst delivering sustainable energy solutions. They are looking for an Administrator to support them within their Registration Services Department on an ongoing basis.
As an Administrator you can expect to receive £10.86-£11.27 per hour dependant on experience.
Working for a renowned electricity distribution company. Reporting to the Registration Services Team Leader, you will work within a team performing a variety of tasks in relation to the creation and maintenance of industry data. It is key that the data is maintained accurately and the relevant policies and procedures are adhered to.
In addition, you will be required to be part of the Team initiative and communicate with our customers during electricity power cuts.
Key Responsibilities:
- General administration
- Working on various Excel documents
- Data retrieval and validation
- Data manipulation
- Data input and maintenance
- Written and verbal communication with internal and external customers

- Computer literate with keyboard skills and experience of MS Office software specifically Excel
- The ability to use in house systems
- Numerical and analytical ability

- Qualifications & Attributes
- As a minimum, candidates should have GCSEs (or equivalent), at grade C or above, in maths and English.
- The candidate should have experience in the administration field possessing good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Excel Skills
- The candidate should be professional and conscientious, able to work to targets, and work well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the electricity industry would be desirable
You will work Monday to Friday 37 hours per week on a flexi hours basis from 8.30am - 4.40pm
