Permanent vacancy - Technician (repairing medical equipment)
Salary - £22,672 - £24,000
Location - Stirling
Working hours 9am - 530pm - (40 hours pw)
Office working days Monday - Friday (Office based)
Our client based in Glasgow is looking for a Technician to join their team in Stirling. They ideally need someone who has experience repairing medical equipment. The role will be responsible for performing troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of various items of medical equipment following Health and Safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* To test, repair and clean oxygen therapy equipment
* To conduct the day to day processing, fault finding, repair and testing of medical equipment
* Ensure that the equipment output matches the needs of the business
* Ensure equipment meets manufacturer and technical standards suitable for use by patients
* Fully document service reports
* Participation in oxygen fill plant maintenance regimes in liaison with the Service Team Leader
* To ensure the Health & Safety/welfare of yourself and fellow colleague
* This post may require to travel to external locations for meetings on occasion
Skills and experience
* Experience as a technician repairing medical equipment
* Experience working in a technical role
* Skilled working independently and with a team
* IT and Customer Service skills
* Excellent communication both written and verbal
* Happy to be flexible when working within a team
