My client is a water company that works predominantly in the South West region. They have quite a few key projects underway and are looking to grow their CAD team by recruiting a Civil CAD Engineer. If you have previous experience as an Engineering Technician and CAD person within the design and construction sector, with a portfolio of previous projects that you are proud of then this will be a great opportunity for you. Job Description: Working in my client's operations Centre in Bath, as a Senior Civil CAD Engineer you will be working within a busy design team to produce water industry construction project drawings using AutoCAD and helping to deliver capital investment projects across the region. Within the role you will also be responsible for using AutoCAD to produce high quality, 2D, detailed engineering construction drawings to exacting industry and team standards for a wide range of civil and water engineering projects. You will also regularly liaise with the Lead Design Engineers to communicate design issues and progress, while also ensuring working procedures are in compliance with the internal drawing governance process. Requirements To be successful, you will be proactive and show initiative. You will spend a large portion of your role working self-sufficiently, therefore your ability to manage your own time and prioritise your workload is key to meet the project deadlines.
