About Henfox Limited

Henfox is a new hospitality group based entirely in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

The first venue, Cafe Impromptu, opened in June 2022. Our second venue, Machine Inn, opened in July 2023. We recently purchased the Knockerdown Inn and we are due to open at least three more venues in and around Ashbourne within the next six months.

Henfox Limited is part of the historic Hopton Hall estate, where we have five holiday lets and our gardens and cafe are open to the public.

Sous Chef

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef or an up and coming Head Chef to be part of our newly formed group. The starting salary for this position is in excess of £35,000.

As Sous Chef, you will deliver our menu to an existing site within Ashbourne, Derbyshire during a 4-day work week.

Our group is expanding and we have several new venues currently undergoing full renovation. We value promoting from within, so we always have opportunities for advancement.

Key duties include

• The development of an innovative food offer in the venue.
• Lead, mentor and manage the kitchen team.
• Assist the training and development of the kitchen team.
