Job description
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensuring all Maintenance / Reactive proposals are produced and provided to the customer in accordance with agreed KPIs or 5 working days whichever is the shorter. Note that any life safety critical repair should be expedited and advised to the client immediately
- Escalating potential sales leads which are identified as lifecycle replacement (IE system upgrades) to the Regional Sales Manager / Client Account Manager
- Ensuring that client KPI's are met in line with contract terms
- • Ensuring the correct client rates are applied to each individual proposal
- • To work within the agreed business Gross Margin expectation
- To work with the field engineers in obtaining the correct levels of detail to allow the production of accurate proposals
- To monitor and escalate to your line manager where insufficient information is supplied, to ensure any underlying issues are addressed and continuous improvement
- To work closely with both the Operations and Sales Teams
- • To follow up proposals that are issued and to secure orders into the business
- To immediately escalate any critical failures to the Regional Service Manager and to the National Service Manager in their absence. (To also ensure the customer is made aware of any critical failures)
- To work as part of a team, helping to support and giving assistance to others where required, in particular at peak times through workload, holidays and or sickness
- To keep up to date with current standards, communicating any changes identified to your line manager
- To deliver weekly updates to the Remedial and Minor Works Manager for current workload, quotations issued and expected orders
Accountable for:
- Providing clear, concise and accurate proposals.
- Providing accurate information to clients and internal members of staff.
- Working towards and exceeding any target set by the Remedial and Minor Works Manager
- Providing First Class Service to the business customer base.
Providing technical support where needed to the Regional Service Support Teams (as required upon escalation

Technical knowledge:
- A technical background to the core business service offerings are essential, including all in house and sub contracted elements.
Understanding of the following Standards: - • BS5839
- BS5306
- • BS7671
- BS6266
- • BS4737
- • NSI Standards
- To operate business processes within the framework of BN EN ISO 9001, LPS1014,LPS1204,ISO14001,OHSAS18001
