HSEQ Advisor | Perm full time Plymouth & South-West | Multi Site | Start Mar 24

My client is a progressive civil engineering contractor with a reputation for quality and innovation, and is a trusted partner to many large public sector organisations.The Health & Safety (HSEQ) Advisor will provide ongoing HSEQ support to multiple construction sites in the Plymouth & South west. This role involves the production of risk assessments and method statements. Working closely with site management teams, technicians, and client safety teams, you will champion HSEQ initiatives monitoring site safety performance ensuring compliance with ISO45001 Safety, Quality and Environment Management systems, company policies and procedures. If you feel you have the skills and competencies for this role, then this is an excellent opportunity for you to further your Safety career.

Role responsibilities

• Liaise with the H&S Manager and others in the team
• Attend client H&S meeting
• Support site team on all H&S aspects
• Review safe systems of work

Role Requirements

• HSEQ experience within civil engineering/ infrastructure - ESSENTIAL
• Passionate about H&S
• Commit to developing your career as a safety professional
• An effective communicator at all levels
• IT literate with proficient report writing skills

Competencies required

• NEBOSH construction or equivalent ESSENTIAL
