Job description

Treasury Finance Assistant (Fixed-term for 6 to 9 months)

The Treasury Finance Assistants support the work of the Treasury team for the NI Water Group of Companies. The Team is responsible for the management and control of Treasury risks for the company including cash management.

The Treasury team is located within the Finance, Regulation & Commercial Directorate.

Treasury is responsible for the effective management of liquidity, investment, counterparty, interest rate, foreign exchange and other financial risks for the NI Water Group of Companies.

Applicants MUST be able to demonstrate in their application and where necessary at interview:

Essential Criteria

1. At least two-years’ experience of working in a Finance/Accounting environment OR A HNC/HND/Degree (or equivalent) in a Business/Finance related qualification.
2. Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel in a Finance environment.

Desirable Criteria

1. Working knowledge of Oracle Financials

Salary scale of £25,471 to £31,132 per annum
