An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing business as the Finance Assistant to join their busy team based in Chorley. The family-owned company is a hidden diamond owning several internationally renowned brands.

The Finance Assistant will be a talented, capable of managing a diverse list of tasks as well as leading and managing the finance team. This role involves liaising with departments across the portfolio

Outlined below are several standard duties that this job role entails.

You will need a passion for accounts and an eye for detail and a love of working in a very busy environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist in completing the month-end accounts for within this group
• Bank Reconciliation for connected bank accounts
• Accruals/Prepayments
• Purchase Ledger including inputting invoices and payments
• Provide assistance to the Sales Ledger and Credit Control team
• Manage ledgers
• Audit year-end assistance
