What does a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist do?
As a potential candidate for the role of Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be at the forefront of leading and coordinating regulatory activities in the EMEA region, ensuring strict compliance with current legislation and guidelines related to Packaging Materials.

- This dynamic position involves providing essential support to the Innovation and Development department, where you will play a key role in advising on regulatory requirements during product development.
- Your expertise will be crucial in deeply understanding and interpreting existing and upcoming regulations, actively identifying trends and changes to promptly communicate them to key stakeholders.
- You'll also be responsible for ensuring the comprehension and implementation of company policies and procedures in the regulatory affairs domain, preparing technical documents, and managing database systems for traceability.
- Your strong project management skills, particularly in technical and scientific regulatory activities, will be essential in executing regulatory items.
- Acting as a liaison between the organization and external entities, proposing testing, evaluating scientific data for compliance, and being accountable for delivering best-in-class service to both internal and external customers will be integral to your role.

Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master’s, or PhD in science, preferably in the Chemistry field. Good knowledge of Chemistry is required.
- Knowledge of EMEA Food contact materials and packaging related regulations along with familiarity with the REACH regulation.
- Experience in manufacturing company and regulatory affairs, preferably within the packaging and chemical industry.
- Additional Credentials: A master's degree or training in Scientific Regulatory Affairs is viewed as an advantageous qualification.
- Communication and Language Skills: Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing business strategy. Fluent in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, German, or Italian is considered a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time.
