Job description

The Trust's Digital Strategy describes the use digital technology to innovate, enhance and automate services that improve the experience of our staff, partners, and the communities we serve. A digital transformation programme has been established to deliver a step change across our core information systems, technology architecture, data and information. The Digital Clinical Lead is a digital leader responsible and accountable for advancing clinical quality and safety through the optimal use of digitally enabled clinical initiatives that effect or involve clinical practice. The role will focus on optimisation and innovation via Microsoft 365 and the electronic patient record.

This post is part of a team of clinical, technical, and operational leadership roles within the digital directorate that will ensure the digital agenda is strategically aligned with future models of care and workforce strategies and addresses the day-to-day operational challenges facing our clinical teams. This role also supports the Trusts Transformation Programme providing clinical leadership and linking digital and operational transformation via our divisional structure. A key aspect of this role will be to encourage and support clinical colleagues to embrace transformational change associated with the digital agenda and to act as a liaison between the Trusts clinical collective and the EPR and M365 programmes.
