Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Accountant. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions, analysing financial data, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the financial success of our dynamic manufacturing business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with various departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.

  3. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee and manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.

  4. Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and provide insights to improve cost efficiency in manufacturing processes.

  5. Tax Compliance: Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax requirements.

  6. Financial Audits: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

  7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of efficient financial procedures.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly desirable.
  3. Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
