Generalist Programmer

Rebellion

Location

Warwick, Warwickshire | United Kingdom

Job description

We want you to #JOINTHEREBELLION!

For 30 years we've been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We operate across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool, and Wakefield. Work-life balance is important to us, and we want everyone at Rebellion to work in the way that works best for them. So, if you are based in the UK, we are always open to discussing how we can support flexible/hybrid working options.

We are on the hunt for a talented Programme to join our small, yet passionate team of experienced developers in the Live Ops team. As part of the Live Ops team, you will play a pivotal role, supporting a variety of tasks using our proprietary in-house engine.

This unique opportunity offers the chance to work on a range of exciting projects, including a post-apocalyptic survival action game, new DLC, and other titles developed by the studio.

As a Live Ops Programmer, you will be working to build general gameplay systems, including metagame/analytics, game flow, and user interface features. You will work closely with game designers, UI artists, and animators to implement game mechanics, as well as other members of the programming team on systems and features on a mixture of current and future Rebellion titles.
