Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident in surgery, diagnostics, and consulting? If so, Purovets have a fantastic opportunity for you! This role is perfect for someone with good communication skills and a positive can-do attitude. You will have access to a surgical caseload alongside a consulting rota, with the support of a very experienced team of registered veterinary nurses and support staff, as well as a surgical certificate holder.

The practice has a flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offering a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. Their vets usually chose to work 40 hours over a 4-day week between the hours of 8am 7pm, but if you would like part time hours to work around your lifestyle, they are more than happy to support this. You will also work a share of 1:5 Saturday mornings between 8am 1pm, with no out-of-hours requirement.
Their facilities include digital radiography including dental, ultrasonography and investigating laparoscopy. By far the best part about working for them is getting to be part of an amazing team, they have 1 full-time Veterinary Surgeon and 1 part-time vet. They are supported by 4 registered veterinary nurses who have many years of experience and a wealth of knowledge, there is also 1 student veterinary nurse, a Practice Director and 5 receptionists so you are never short of support! Across the team, vets are undertaking dermatology and ophthalmology certificates. They are a three-site practice with a very family-friendly atmosphere, set in the semi-rural village of Black Notley, surrounded by open fields and glorious countryside. Located just off the A120, a 15min car journey will take you to Stansted Airport and we have direct train services into the City of London.
Role:
- Salary up to £75,000 DOE
- 4 days, 40 hours a week, open 8am - 7pm
- Part time applications considered
- 1 in 5 Saturday mornings, 8am - 1pm
- No OOHs
- £10,000 relocation allowance
