As the Senior HR Advisor, reporting to the UK HR Manager, you will be the first HR point of contact for all employee-related matters for the site.
In this role you will be an integral member of the Site Leadership Team, responsible for supporting Senior and Line Managers to drive the People Plan for the site.
You will bring strong HR technical expertise to the site with a deep understanding of company business needs and related strategy; providing advice, guidance, support and communication
Working with the broader Global HR Team to deliver business wide solutions
Ensuring adherence to all appropriate policies, practices and procedures as required by legislation
Create and deliver effective and efficient, forward-looking, and modern HR approaches to:
Delivering the site People Plan in line with the site and company strategy.
Partnering with Line Management for effective resource planning.
Providing support to the site with learning and development – through programmes, coaching and mentoring
Proactive sourcing and talent acquisition initiatives
Compiling, submitting, and analysing HR metrics to plan and make informed strategic decisions
Provide prompt advice, guidance and leadership to Line Managers on all employee relations matters to ensure legal compliance with fair and complementary management decisions
Constructively challenge and advise the business to ensure the most appropriate course of action
Drive and support operational teams with the management and implementation of key cost efficiency initiatives relating to absenteeism, overtime cost management, etc.
Champion simple, agile, business focused HR practice and ensure a flexible approach to contribute in non-HR areas of the business
Writing and presenting line manager training and coaching on a range of HR related topics.
initiatives that assist business decision making and effective management of all HR related systems and processes
Global HR improvement projects and support implementation of new initiatives in the UK.
Broad generalist operational HR experience, in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.
Experience of working with and coaching senior management.
Strong Employee Relations and complex casework experience.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and partner at all levels
Creative with experience of implementing innovative solutions
Hands-on change agent supporting continuous improvement across the Ascot site.
Good MS Office skills and experience of working with HR management systems
Strong organisational design and development interventions
Ability to work independently, exercise self-initiative with proven track record of prioritising activities to business risk able to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
Demonstrable understanding of data privacy and retention requirements
