Business Administration Apprentice - Level 3, 32.5 hpw (Term Time Only)

£7.68 per hour (1st year only and then age related)
Fixed term contract for 2 years
Required from 3 June 2024
Work pattern: Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3.45pm (lunch - 30 minutes)Visits to the school are encouraged by telephone appointment
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, and highly motivated, individual to the post of Business Administration Apprentice within our very busy school office.
For this post, excellent inter-personal skills are essential. Candidates must also have the ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and support others in the team.
The key roles and responsibilities of the apprentice will be to:
- deal with telephone queries efficiently and effectively;
- welcome students and visitors, ensuring all visitors are signed in and monitored in accordance with school safeguarding procedures;
- provide general administrative support including typing, updating records, photocopying, scanning, sorting, and delivering post and postage;
- deal with internal and external post, and telephone queries from other organisations;
- complete regular stock taking of stationery;
- support with dinner money via ParentPay and assist with Free School Meals processes;
- undertake any other administration tasks required by the Head Teacher or Administration team.
The apprentice will undertake training, and receive the qualification, for a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
