The Employer is: MAYFIELD VILLAGE BUTCHERS. We are looking for a Trainee Butcher to join our busy team on a Full Time basis. Duties will include: Making up orders. Sausage Making. Mincing. Burger Production. Packing. Cleaning. Serving customers in retail shop. Working as part of the Team. Full training will be provided. Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Willingness to learn and develop are essential. Must be computer literate. Must have good hygiene practices. Must have right to work in UK. .

Responsibilities

• Cutting, deboning and preparing meats according to the specifications of customers.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and tools for cutting.
• Weighing, packaging and displaying meat products.
• Keeping all chillers and freezers in excellent condition and coordinating with maintenance workers for repairs.
• Sharpening and adjusting cutting equipment.
• Receiving, inspecting, and storing meat upon delivery.
• Cleaning equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Performing quality inspections on meats and other products.
• Handling customer queries.
• Other duties as required.

Further Information

The Employer is: MAYFIELD VILLAGE BUTCHERS. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
