Job description
Where your work helps shape the healthcare of tomorrow Practice Plus Group Hospital, Shepton Mallet provides a hand, wrist and foot surgery service to the local community and occasionally sub-contract service for local Acute Trusts. As part of this service, a comprehensive orthopaedic plaster service is required based in our Outpatient Department. We are looking for an experienced individual to provide professional and technical support to Hand, Wrist, and Foot Surgeons by demonstrating a high standard of expertise of orthopaedic casting techniques. In addition, you will act as a facilitator to the learning needs of other staff groups including medical and nursing staff. NB: This role offers a BANK CONTRACT so hours will be offered as and when the site requires cover for sickness or annual leave or extra workload.
