Job description

What you will do in your working day

• Learn how to operate the cash register
• Counter sales
• Answering patient calls on our dedicated telephone line
• Daily communication with patients regarding their medication and relaying onto the rest of the team
• Putting away dispensary orders from wholesalers
• Basic dispensing duties

The training you will be getting

You will be training at our Telford site:

• Woodside Pharmacy Park Lane Telford TF7 5QZ
• Weekly sessions at Walsall College. Term time only
• Pharmacy services assistant level 2
• Functional Skills in English and maths if required

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Should the business have a vacancy once apprenticeship is completed this role could progress to Dispensing Technician.
