Job description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dalkeith, is currently looking to recruit an Assessment Administrator for delivery of services during the upcoming main exam diet. This role is for an initial 3-month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £11.70/hour PAYE. This role will be based onsite in Dalkeith.
Responsibilities:
-Malpractice Exceptions are raised by markers, invigilators, verifiers, or third parties, to inform the department of suspected Malpractice.
-Types of malpractice range from plagiarism, misconduct, and prohibited items.
-Candidate Malpractice cases are dealt with in the Assessment Arrangements Team
-Working with centres to investigate cases and hold panel meetings through the diet to apply decisions and penalties.
Essential Skills:
-Office based experience required
-Competent IT skills specifically in (Excel & Word)
-Requires good attention to detail and the ability to multitask
-Confident telephone manner and excellent customer service skills
-Ability to work independently and prioritise and manage own workload in accordance to staff operating procedures.
- Ability to work with accuracy and with attention to detail in a pressurised environment.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Good, general administrative skills
- Flexible working approach and ability to work on own as well as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
