P6 Planner
Based Midlands (B3)
Salary up to £75k + Excellent Package
Market leading civil engineering contractor is looking for a P6 Planner to play a key role on a £100 million plus, Major Station project. They are seeking a meticulous and strategic individual to take the helm in developing and maintaining a detailed Construction Schedule. This position is not merely a job; it is a chance to leave a lasting imprint on a landmark project.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with the development and management of the programme, orchestrating subcontract works packages, and steering co-ordination and reporting against measured baselines. This role demands a candidate with a proven track record on large-scale projects, with budgets exceeding £100m.
A formal PM / Planning qualification or MAPM status will set the foundation for your success, while experience in the Railway sector or Major Construction Programmes will distinguish you as a frontrunner for this role. Your ability to produce comprehensive level three programmes for work packages and to develop programmes for tender purposes will be pivotal.
Your critical eye will be essential in reviewing contractors’ programmes returned with tenders, providing insightful comments to bolster the procurement process. Furthermore, your expertise will guide the review, development, and optimisation of construction methodology and site logistics.
Leading the schedule review of contractor claims or disputes will showcase your leadership and problem-solving skills, making you an invaluable asset to the team.
