Job description

Independent Family Group Conference Coordinator – Daybreak

Are you a trained and experienced Family Group Conference Coordinator?

Daybreak, a registered charity, is welcoming new Independent Coordinators to join our team.

Job Title: Independent Family Group Conference Coordinator – Trained
Fee: £539 for accredited / £519 for non-accredited, per completed FGC, plus expenses
Working pattern: Flexible to suit you and the needs of each case, with a combination of working from home and traveling to see families. We are looking for people who can offer a range of time commitment from full-time to those who can single case hold
Contract Type: Independent, Self-employed
Training: As a freelance role, we would expect Coordinators to keep up to date with and self-fund expected training, including Safeguarding and Data Protection. We have limited but discounted spaces in our training events and workshops for Coordinators working with us. Enhanced DBS is essential.

We work with self-employed Coordinators across a range of geographical areas in the South of England and are actively looking for trained and experienced Coordinators to join our team.

We are welcoming compassionate, committed, and professional Coordinators who excel at bringing people together, ensuring everyone is heard and listened to, and delivering quality work for families, every time. We are looking to expand the use of Family Group Conferences to a wide range of environments and referral agents, beyond the primary focus of children’s social services – so now is a great time to join our growing team.

Our Coordinators are experienced in working alongside families facing a diverse range of challenging situations; including but not limited to, mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence.

Our services are currently based in Portsmouth, Reading, Bromley, Hackney, and Wiltshire and we are therefore prioritising applicants in these areas. We are keen however to hear from Coordinators across the South of England to help us broaden our offer to families and communities in line with our new strategy.

We have families waiting for support; please contact us today.

Application process:

We are open to applications on an ongoing basis – please only apply if you have undertaken Family Group Conference Coordinator training and have experience in Coordinating. If you are not yet trained, please see our alternative listing for those aspiring with information on the route to become a Family Group Conference Coordinator.

If you believe you have the skills and the passion to join one of the leading voluntary sector providers of FGCs then please download the recruitment pack or contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Our funding means we can currently only help 4 in 10 people

Your donation will help more families access expert legal advice and support from Family Rights Group.
