Salary Scale SCP: 13 to 17 (£26,873 to £28,770)

Bridgwater Town Council is a progressive employer looking for a Bar Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the bar based in the historic Bridgwater Arts Centre in Castle Street, including overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the bar, and acting as Duty Manager at times on a rota system with other staff.
Other areas of day-to-day responsibility include, being responsible for the stock control of all products sold in the bar, placing orders for new stock, ensuring wastage is kept to a minimum whilst also ensuring enough stock is purchased for all activities, to lead the Bar team, motivate them to perform well and provide the necessary on the job training and to act as Duty Manager at times on a rota system with other staff.
