Reeson Education is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time SEN Unit Teaching Assistant to join the team in Balham. This role involves working within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) unit attached to a mainstream primary school, specifically supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to children within the SEN unit, focusing on those with ASD.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching team to address individual needs.

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with ASD is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the unique requirements of each child.
• Empathy and patience in supporting children with special educational needs.
