Job description

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with Solid works and AutoCad software knowledge ?

Our long standing client within the industrial Automation/ Machinery Manufacturing industry based in the Northamptonshire area have recently opened up a new opportunity for a full time Project Execution Manager/ Mechanical Design Engineer.

This office based role will be working 38 hours on a flexible basis between 07.00- 17.00 (core hours being 09.00 - 15.00), hybrid working may be also be considered.

The ideal Skills required for this role include having a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering(or equivalent) and

:* Solid works Software (2D & 3D)-Mechanical working knowledge/

* Machinery Design background or Jigs/Fixtures design background.

* AutoCAD Software-Mechanical.

* Pneumatic Circuit Design by using AutoCAD software.

* Mechanical component selection knowledge (Gear motor, Gear pumps, Ball valves, Cylinders,

Hydraulic parts)

* Project Management- offering end to end engineering solution.

* 2006/42/EC - Machinery Directive Knowledge.

* Machinery UK safety standards

* Basic knowledge of Sage50 software( not essential)

* Knowledge of mechanical engineering CAD tools like

Solid works, Auto CAD for machine design in Industrial Automation/OEM/Machinery Manufacturing industry.
