£22,922.09 Per annum- pending an in increase in April 2024
HMP & YOI Doncaster is a Category B prison, it predominantly serves the courts of South and West Yorkshire and currently holds up to 1,145 male prisoners over the age of 18. We are located in the centre of Doncaster within walking distance of the railway station and bus station. As a resettlement prison we work with our prisoners, particularly those serving less than 12-months, to ensure that they have the support they need for resettlement as well as access to the services and support available to them after release. Most of our prisoners are released back into the Yorkshire and Humber area.
We have an opening for a Security Admin to join our team.
The Security Admin will provide administrative support to the Security and Intelligence department maintaining administration systems within specified timescales for the establishment.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role involve:
Any other duties which they are requested to do by the security manager or the Intelligence manager.
What you need to do the job:
This is an opportunity for someone who has a strong administrative background. It is essential that they are able to use a number software and IT and related systems. Having some knowledge Of PNOMIS system and CMS would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be trained in Mercury systems and be fully compliant. It goes without saying that the Security Administrator must have good literacy skills and excellent communication skills.
Having some experience of working in a secure, custody environment is highly desirable.
