Job description
An international law firm is seeking a talented lawyer with up to four years PQE to join its Subrogated Recoveries team in Leeds to help drive its continued expansion.
In addition to highly competitive pay, the firm has pledged its commitment to hybrid working and you’ll be able to work from home up to three days per week. Unlike many firms in the space, there are no plans to scale back on this offering.
You’ll have a good track record of handling a varied caseload of fast and multi-track property insurance disputes and will be happy to support marketing and business development to help grow the profile of the team.
The firm’s client base is the envy of its competitors, and your work will have a truly national scope, as the firm shares matters across all its teams, regardless of location. You’ll act for several large commercial or insurance companies on complex property damage insurance recoveries involving fire, escape of water and impact.
The team has some extremely high-profile cases and clients, so you’ll find lots of interesting new learning experiences and opportunities to build your name in the space.
The team have won more awards than you could shake a stick at, and you’ll work with well-known Partners who are truly the best in the field – as well as an extremely charismatic Head of Location, who cares what their people say and wants to maintain a culture of openness.
You’ll have a good understanding of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, and will be able to engage well with experts and counsel.
