Role: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Fully remote
Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 plus great benefits!
Contract: Permanent
Investigo are working with an exciting growing data driven technology business based in the Midlands in search of a Data Engineer to come and join the team.
The company are going through a period of growth and on-boarding new customers which in turn is increasing the demand for talent amongst the teams.
This responsibilities will include:
- Implement data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and business intelligence (BI) systems
- Document source-to-target mappings
- Re-engineer manual data flows to enable scaling and repeatable use
- Support the build of data streaming systems
- Write ETL scripts and code to make sure the ETL process performs optimally
- Apply knowledge of systems integration to their work
- Champion data engineering across the business
The key skills we are looking for are:
- Ideally will have a STEM degree
- At least 5 years of experience working within a Date engineering capacity
- Must have experience working with ADF, Azure Synapse and Power BI
- Ideally have experience with SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
- Must have the ability to communicate well with external customers and vendors where needed
- Experience in data integration design
