Event Sales Executive
£28,000 – £30.000 per annum, Depending on Experience
Orsett
28 days holiday
40 hours a week – 5 day working week including weekends, bank holidays, and some late evenings
Join our client, a well-established 4-star hotel nestled in the Essex countryside! They’re on the lookout for a Full-Time Event Sales Executive with hospitality and events experience to join their dynamic Events team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming sales inquiries efficiently.
- Promptly respond to all enquiries.
- Successfully close sales and meet targets.
- Conduct viewings and provide accurate quotations.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of hotel products and services.
- Collaborate with management to secure sales.
- Ensure booking accuracy and avoid double bookings.
- Maintain precise daily sales records.
- Build strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Support the Planning Team as needed.
- Provide top-notch guest service at all times.
- Utilise hotel facilities for maximum sales.
- Offer sales data for internal reporting.
- Communicate internal issues affecting sales to management.
- Stay informed about competitor hotels and venues.
- Attend meetings and training sessions.
- Assist with ad hoc duties as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong sales skills with excellent conversion abilities.
- Confident negotiator.
- Driven to surpass targets.
- Effective communicator with a diverse clientele.
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills.
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Impeccable presentation.
- Previous Hotel & Event Sales experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
