Job description
We are keen to ensure there is adequate support for the candidate in this role andhave recently recruited an 8c Consultant Psychologist to lead the acute pathway andprovide specialist supervision for this post. The trust also support an AcutePsychology Special Interest Group (SIG) and there are clear links with otherPsychological practitioners working within the borough.We are investing in the Psychology provision across the acute care adult pathwayand we are committed to providing therapeutic inpatient stays and the delivery oftrauma informed care. The successful applicant will an integral MDT member,working alongside ward staff, reducing restrictive practice leads, inpatient clinicalexcellence leads and be part of the inpatient transformation agenda to providepsychological assessment, formulation and intervention to service users who presentwith complex mental health problems. In addition, you will bring a psychologicalperspective to care, team meetings, formulation meetings and support thepsychosocial intervention work of colleagues, through supervision and reflectivepractice.
